Webb2 apr. 2024 · I bought a new pc about 4 months ago. It worked wonderfully until the last week when there has been a ticking noise. I think there is something with the fan because the ticking becomes more rapid when the fan speed turns up. It seems random because sometimes it's quiet. I haven't done any changes to the pc at all since I got it. Webb14 maj 2024 · If the sound persists even after you've cleaned your PC in this way, it may be a specific fan's bearings are failing. The only way to fix that is to replace the fan.
