(usually found from pre 86 small blocks) and the heads on the 305 are small chamber heads (more compression). WebSep 10, 2016 · Back to your original question, most people call the "camel hump" heads fuelies but as stated before, only the 461 were true fuelies. There are several closed chambered heads with different casting numbers and markings that will perform as well and a original fuelie head.

They come with or without accessory holes. You can spend as much to have an old pair of 492 steel heads done over. There is definitely a market for them. I may make up a pair of camel-hump silhouettes out of aluminum and JB Weld them to my Dart heads... i have thalassophobia
