Web21 feb. 2024 · You are correct. I made sure the tree was a Texas Red Oak since that is what my parents have. Who knows, maybe when I least expect it, it will take off growing. I have a Bur Oak which is supposed to be one of the fastest growing oaks for our area and it hasn't done much either, in fact, it is slower than the Red Oak. Go figure lol.
